Flux Calibration
After standard division is done, the spectrum is flux-calibrated. This is
done by using the standard star's V-band magnitude, spectral type, and
observed waveband to determine a reference flux at the central wavelength
of the observed waveband. The units of the flux-calibrated spectrum are
presented in
.
