It appears that in a land far away, a software engineer whose name was
Timbo changed the perl fits reading routine to have 0/1 for T/F. He was
a very busy boy and forgot to mention this to any of the people supporting
mission critical code based on this application.
This is the fix. The body is buried in the back yard.
